2011 Goals

The overarching goal of Lemoore Union Elementary School District is to support the continuous improvement of all children’s academic achievement and social behavior.  To that end, the Board of Trustees adopts the following:

Ø Ensure that all children realize their full academic potential.  To that end, provide opportunities, resources, and a system of shared accountability for student achievement with clear performance standards and consequences.

Ø Develop each child’s self-respect, respect for others, appreciation for diversity, and sense of responsibility.

Ø Monitor fiscal solvency and make every effort to minimize any impact to the instructional program.

Ø Maintain staff support to enable students to meet or exceed district grade level standards.

Ø Maintain supplemental and alternative instructional opportunities for students to meet or exceed district grade level standards.

Ø Maintain opportunities for student participation in extra-curricular activities. 

Ø Maintain the development of positive, supportive school culture, improve communication/involvement with staff and parents, and foster positive community relations.

Ø Employ technology in ways that enhance learning, teaching, and instructional operations.
