Superintendent

Mr. RayburnSince 1885, the Lemoore Union Elementary School District has served the children and community of Lemoore and its neighboring areas.  It is our privilege to continue this 120 year tradition of “building a foundation for success” for our children.

Our goal is for all children to learn to their potential, not merely to minimum standards.  To this end, the LUESD vision is to cultivate learning through high quality instruction that is engaging and supportive of every child's unique learning needs.  To support this mission, LUESD employs fully qualified teachers and paraprofessionals as well as a wide range of support personnel.  In addition, each of our children is provided with State approved, Board adopted textbooks, as well as access to a variety of support materials and instructional technologies.  Our four elementary schools and our middle school maintain libraries and computer labs for student and teacher use, while our charter school, located on the West Hills Community College campus, has access to the college library and its services.  Each of our schools is led by veteran administrators who are experienced educators that come from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences.  They share a common mission of providing our children with safe and well-run learning environments.

We recognize and take very seriously our obligation to help prepare our children for productive and meaningful lives.  As part of this commitment, our schools have adopted and are guided by the six pillars of the Character Counts Program – Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.  This program has also been adopted by the Lemoore Union High School District and the City of Lemoore.

The Lemoore administrative and management staff is committed to providing parents and other members of the community with information, answering questions, listening to ideas, and addressing concerns.  We encourage residents to be involved and to feel free to contact us in person or by phone, letter, or electronic mail so that we may better serve the children of Lemoore.  Names and contact information can be found on this Website and by calling 924-6800.

We hope that this Website is a useful tool for you to discover information about the schools, programs and services we offer and to help you understand that Lemoore Union Elementary School District is a welcoming learning environment.  We ask that you join with us as we work to build a foundation of success for our children.
