COVID-19 DASHBOARD AND LATEST UPDATES
The Lemoore Union Elementary School District and our seven schools are also committed to providing accurate and transparent information regarding COVID-19 cases on our campuses, while also maintaining privacy and confidentiality for our students and staff. The data below represents the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases amount students and staff on our campuses (in-person instruction only). This data will be updated once a week as cases are confirmed. In the event of a positive case, parents of students who will be quarantined will be notified directly by the Principal, Nurse or school office staff.
|Cumulative Confirmed COVID-19 Cases |
District Wide since 9/14
** Information updated on Mondays when school is in session, as positive cases are confirmed. Data for a positive case will be removed when the individual is cleared to return to campus, following local health orders.
COMMUNICATION PROCESS IN THE EVENT OF A CONFIRMED POSITIVE CASE
1. How do you determine what students need to quarantine after a positive case? Quarantine status is determined based on the specific school schedule in which the positive case may have been infectious during the contact tracing period. Elementary school students will be quarantined by their class and if they share intervention time and sat within 6 feet of the positive individual. Students at our middle school sites (LMS and UCS) will be quarantined if they sit within 6 feet of the positive individual. This may change if research or guidance changes.
2. How will you notify me if my child is identified as needing to quarantine? Parents will receive a live phone call from a school employee if your student is being asked to quarantine along with a letter.
3. How will you notify me if there is a positive situation in the school that does not affect my child? If your child is not affected, you will receive a schoolmessenger teleparent and schoolmessenger email.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO LIMIT THE SPREAD
It is going to take a concerted effort to keep our students and staff safe. In addition to health and safety measures taken on our campus, we encourage you to be proactive and to reinforce the importance of hand-washing, physical distancing and face coverings to limit the spread of COVID-19. Also, if a member of your household tests positive for COVID-19, please stay at home and notify your school immediately. If you have any symptoms associated with COVID-19, make sure you stay home and get tested if necessary.
