Thank you to the families who were able to join us for our Student of the Month celebration this morning.
These amazing students show up every day with a positive attitude and consistently give 100% effort in everything they do. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and character. Congratulations, Patriots!

We had an incredible turnout for the first day of track tryouts today. With over 60 students trying out, the energy and talent level were high.
We are looking forward to seeing what this group can accomplish in the coming weeks. Tryouts continue tomorrow for Day 2. We look forward to seeing everyone back out there as we determine who will make the final roster.

Let’s hear it for our latest Attendance All Stars. We love celebrating our attendance raffle winners who led the pack.
The path to graduation is paved one day at a time. Every class attended is another step toward that stage. Keep going, Patriots. We can’t wait to see who wins next!

Our 7th graders had an incredible day of discovery yesterday at the San Jose Tech Interactive. From the immersive IMAX theater experience to the hands-on displays and technology models, it was a day filled with inspiration and learning.
For several of our students, this was their first time traveling outside of the Lemoore area. We are so grateful to provide them with this new perspective on the world of innovation.
A huge thank you to our district, dedicated staff, and chaperones for coordinating this trip and making it possible for our students to explore beyond the classroom.

Six talented students from Liberty represented our school at the Tulare Kings County Music Educators Association (TKMEA) Honor Band this past weekend. Out of a competitive field of applicants, these students were among only 80 selected via audition to participate. Their hard work culminated in a wonderful performance at the LJ Williams Auditorium at Redwood High School.
We are incredibly proud of these musicians for their dedication and for representing the Liberty.
Joelle Geldore - Flute/Piccolo
Sophia Calderon-Yanez - Clarinet
Nick Vazquez - Clarinet
Sophie Salinas - Trumpet
Antonio Menjivar- Tenor Sax
Theo Hubilla - Tenor Sax

Today in science, our 8th grade students explored the fascinating world of cells by examining a variety of plant and animal specimens under the microscope to determine their similarities and differences. Students observed plant cells such as lily bud, sunflower leaf, and squash, noticing features like cell walls and structured shapes. They also examined animal cells, including blood vessels of the lung, frog blood, and small intestine cells. In addition, students viewed bacteria, comparing these microscopic organisms to plant and animal cells.
Through this hands on investigation, students were able to better understand how cells function, what structures they share, and what makes each type unique.

Congratulations to Mary Sadac and Joelle Geldore for proudly representing Liberty Middle School at the Kings County Spelling Bee today. We are beyond proud of the dedication, preparation, and hard work they put in to make it to this level of competition. Their commitment to studying and practicing truly paid off.
Mary did an outstanding job representing the 7th grade and showed great confidence and determination throughout the competition. Joelle gave an incredible performance and earned 1st place for our 8th graders. What an amazing accomplishment!
We are so proud of you both for representing our school with such class and determination. Keep up the amazing work!

A special congratulations to our Outstanding Performer award winners:
Aaron Ramos
Joelle Geldore
Lincoln Parreira
Great job to the entire ensemble on a successful weekend of music.

Earlier this week, we recognized National SRO (School Resource Officer) Appreciation Day, and we want to extend a huge thank you to Officer Bohannon and Officer McPherson. We are also incredibly grateful for our dedicated Campus Security team, Ms. Hill and Ms. Carrillo.
They do so much more than just keep our halls safe; they are mentors and friendly faces who greet our students with a smile every morning. Their presence builds a foundation of security and trust that allows our students to focus on learning and growing.

Today our campus were filled with red, white, and blue for Spirit Day. Beyond the school spirit, we are also celebrating the kindness our students have shown one another throughout the week.
We also celebrated our students who achieved perfect attendance with a cookie treat. Their dedication to showing up every day is exactly what we love to see.
Have a great weekend, Patriots!
