Happy Friday everyone! A couple of questions have come up and we wanted to make sure we were able to answer before Monday. Dress Code - Our school board understands that this is a financially difficult time for many families. Therefore, while we will encourage our students to wear collared shirts, no student will face any discipline or have phone calls home for not wearing a collared shirt. We only ask that students wear school appropriate shirts, pants/shorts and shoes. Shoes need to have backs (no flip flops or slides), or no open toed shoes. Students will be participating in PE, so we need them to be safe. Sports/Play Equipment - We are no longer allowing students to bring their own equipment from home, including: footballs, basketballs, or soccer balls. We also ask that students continue to NOT bring toys, stuffed animals, or games from home. We are super excited to have more of our Lions return to campus Monday. Have a safe Halloween and don't forget to turn those clocks forward on Sunday!

These must be reviewed and verified through Aeries Parent Portal or signed and brought with your child on the first day of school. Steps to access the Aeries Parent Portal System include: - Go to https://parentport.luesd.k12.ca.us and log in - Select your student - Download and review the Student Required Entry Form from the Documents Section - Confirm receipt of the document by checking the checkbox - Download and review the Parent/Guardian Daily COVID-19 Health Screening Guide (Updated) from the Documents section - Confirm receipt of the document by checking the checkbox We will be following detailed safety protocols to ensure the health of our students including encouraging our students to wear face coverings.
