There is no school on Monday, October 14th, in observance of Columbus Day. School resumes on Tuesday, October 15th. We will be continuing benchmark testing. Please make sure your student has a charged chromebook. Have an amazing weekend.

We were so excited to have Cross Country as an option on campus this year. Our students always gave 100% effort and never gave up.
Thank you to Mr. Miyamoto and Mrs. Merriott for coaching the teams. Good job, athletes.

This school year, we have two new employees on campus: Mrs Hill and Mrs Carrillo. They are part of a campus security team at Liberty. Mrs Hill is also currently going to college, with a goal of working in other capacities in the education field. Mrs Carrillo started as a Liberty parent, then noon aide, and now part of campus security. We are so grateful and thankful for their presence on campus.

Our Liberty Patriot, Ethan Zaragoza, was awarded the Andy Johnson award. This Lemoore Little League award honor is given to an athlete, like Andy Johnson, who embodies sportsmanship, teamwork, and effort. We will proudly display this trophy for a full year, and Ethan will pass it on to the next recipient. Congratulations.

Our Liberty students received a parent survey today. Please take some time to fill out the survey and have your student return it to their Advisory teacher by Friday, October 11. Thank you.

Our Liberty Marching Band and Colorguard went to the Fresno Fair yesterday. Out of 11 schools that participated, Liberty placed 3rd. Our Percussion team also did an amazing job and placed 2nd in their category. Congratulations.
Thank you to Mr Zellous for these great photos.

Tomorrow, Friday, October 4th, is our last day of the fall book fair. We will be open until 3pm. Thank you for your continued support.
A special thank you to students, Emerald K and Somaya R, for the amazing chalk art they created for the book fair.

Good luck to our Liberty Marching Band and Colorguard, as they head to the Fresno Fair today.

Liberty Middle School took 2nd Place at the SAL Flag Football tournament. After a last-minute touchdown, Liberty won Kings River Hardwick in the first round of the Playoffs. However, another last play couldn't get the Patriots the win over the Pioneer Panthers. Congratulations to our Patriots on 2nd place; they played a great season.

Today is Custodian Appreciation Day. Thank you to our Liberty Custodial staff. They help keep us clean and safe every school day.

We had our first Student of the Month celebration this morning. Our amazing Patriots were selected by their teachers as students who are always dependable. These students are at school every day and on time. Thank you to the parents and guardians who were able to join us. Congratulations, Patriots.
And a special thank you to our Cafeteria staff who always create a welcoming and beautiful setup.

Our Liberty Book Fair is open during Parent Teacher Conferences and during student's break and lunch. Use an e-wallet so that your student can spend money at the book fair.
Thank you to all the staff and families that have already contributed so that we can purchase more books for our Media Center. Your support is very much appreciated.
