Thank you to the parents and guardians who joined us this morning to celebrate our Students of the Month. These outstanding students consistently demonstrate integrity both inside and outside the classroom, and we are incredibly proud of them.

Please have a look of our Liberty schedule for next week. Monday is not an early out day, but Friday, November 21st is an early release day for Thanksgiving break.

Our Liberty Winter Percussion Auditions will start next week on Tuesday, November 18 (Drumline) and Thursday, November 20 (Mallets/Keyboards). Students will meet at the Liberty Band room afterschool to audition. They must have their parent permission slip prior to auditions. We are so glad the rain held off yesterday. We had good weather to celebrate our amazing 8th grade soccer athletes at our last home game of the season. We are so proud of their hard work and growth this year. Thank you to all the parents, families, and friends who came out to cheer them on; you made the game even more special. Only a few more away games next week to end the season. Great job, Patriots!

We had a great turnout for our 1st day of wrestling conditioning, yesterday. Our students were ready to learn and prepare for the season. Conditioning continues today 11/13 afterschool.

It is our last home soccer game of the season this Thursday, November 13. Come out and show your support as we celebrate our amazing 8th grade athletes! Don’t miss this chance to cheer them on in their final home game. Let’s fill the stands and make it a game to remember.

Tomorrow is Veterans Day, and we would like to take a moment to thank all the brave men and women who have served our country and helped make our homes a safe place. We especially want to recognize our very own Liberty veterans, Mr. Garcia, Mr. Keel, and Mrs. O'quinn, for their dedication. Thank you for your service and for everything you do for our students and community.

There is no school, tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11, observance of Veterans Day. Our Liberty Marching Band and Colorguard will be performing at the Lemoore Veterans Day Parade on 11/11. We hope you can join us.

Our Liberty winterguard tryouts will be starting soon on Monday, November 17th. It is open to all Liberty students.
Permission slips will need to be filled out via parentsquare prior to tryout dates. Form will be available tonight at 5pm.

Liberty wrestling season is starting up in December. Students interested in wrestling will need to partcipate in conditioning/tryouts. Conditioning will start on November 12th; 3:15pm to 4:15pm.

Malaqai Hoffmaster earned himself a pizza lunch today with Mrs. Dow. He invited his friends Kimberly Villela Montes and Wendy Campos to join him. Malaqai is having a great year. He is currently on the Colorguard team and is looking forward to trying out for Winter guard. Congratulations; we are so proud of you.

Rhyme Without a Reason Day wrapped up our Red Ribbon Week with so much creativity and fun! We saw some amazing rhymes around campus: Wild West: Arrest, Emo: Nemo, 6–7: Heaven, Minnie: Winnie, Liz: Frizz, Chef: Ref, Rapper: Napper, Unicorn: Newborn, and Fat: Rat: Pete the Cat. Can you identify them all? Our students and staff really brought their best rhymes today. Enjoy your three day weekend, Patriots. We’ll see you on Monday!

Just a reminder there is no school tomorrow, October 31st. Staff will be having a professional development day. Have a great three day weekend.

Thank you to the high school students from Lemoore High School and Lemoore Middle College High School for serving as table leaders at our Character Counts Conference with our 7th and 8th graders today. We are so grateful for their valuable input and thoughtful discussions. A special thank you also goes to the advisors of these leadership groups for their time, guidance, and support. During the conference, our 7th and 8th graders participated in separate sessions focused on what it truly means to have good character. Students discussed real life scenarios and explored the importance of being responsible, dependable, and honest. These conversations encouraged students to think about how their actions reflect their values and how good character builds trust, strengthens relationships, and creates a positive community.

Today was Professional Dress Day at school! Our students showed up looking sharp in their button up shirts, ties, and dresses. We are so proud of how professional they looked and how respectfully they represented themselves at the Character Counts Conference. Tomorrow’s Red Ribbon Week dress up day is Rhyme Without a Reason! Students will team up and wear creative costumes that rhyme, but don’t necessarily go together. Think pairs like Rat and Cat, Ref and Chef, or Ghost and Toast. We can’t wait to see all the fun and imaginative combinations our students come up with!

We are proud of our Buddies Program here at Liberty. Through this program, Liberty students build friendships with our Shelly Baird students, who have a satellite location on our campus. Our Shelly Baird students take part in many school activities, including PE, rallies, dress up days, and community events like our recent Trick or Treat Night. The Buddies Program helps students develop empathy, leadership, and communication skills while forming meaningful connections and celebrating inclusion across our campus.

Today, students and staff showed off their favorite decades with style, featuring backward jerseys, sideways hats, neon colors, band tees, and plaid shirts. Everyone had fun showing off their favorite decade's clothing trends. Tomorrow, students will shift gears for the Character Conference.This special event is an opportunity for students to explore the importance of character and how it impacts our lives. They’ll engage in meaningful discussions alongside high school student leaders. Our Liberty students are encouraged to dress professionally.

The Lemoore Performing Arts Parents (Band Parent Club) are hosting a fundraiser on Wednesday, November 5th! For just $25, you’ll receive a delicious full meal featuring tri tip, chicken, rice, beans, mac and cheese, and a roll.
Meal pick ups will be from 4:30pm to 6pm at Liberty Middle School.
All proceeds support our LUESD band programs. Thank you for your support!
