Today, Lemoore Union Elementary School District celebrated all of our incredible staff across the district. This year’s theme was “Through the Decades,” and our Liberty team went all out with their 80s inspired look. Our students even participated and dressed up in their favorite eras today as well.
Staff enjoyed a delicious lunch from Mariscos Tacos and sweet treats from Crumbl Cookies. Many walked away with fun prizes and gift cards, and we were proud to recognize staff for their years of dedicated service. A special moment was honoring our "Administrator of the Year," Mrs. Deena Mathers, as we prepare to say farewell and wish her the very best in retirement at the end of this school year.
We are truly grateful for our Liberty staff, whose hard work, care, and dedication make our school a welcoming, safe, and joyful place for all students every day.

We ended the week with a pizza celebration for our incredible Liberty staff, courtesy of our Liberty Administrative team. Every member of our staff plays a vital role in the daily success of our campus.They not only keep things running smoothly, but they help shape the lives of our students and make a lasting impact on our community.

Yesterday was School Nurse Appreciation Day, and our ASB students made a sign for them. Our school nurses always make us feel better! Thank you for taking care of us.

Our Liberty softball team gave it their all yesterday afternoon in a tough matchup against a strong Rafer Johnson team. Our Liberty Patriots finished 2nd overall in the SAL tournament, and we couldn’t be more proud of their hard work and determination. Special shoutout to Jazlyn Guzman for an outstanding performance with four runs, including a lead off solo home run in the first inning. Congratulations to Rafer Johnson on their Championship win.
Our Patriots had a great season, and we can’t wait to see what next year’s team brings. Good luck to our 8th graders; we know they’re going to make big impacts at the high school level and beyond.

Yesterday, our students got crafty and heartfelt, writing sweet appreciation notes to their teachers and staff during their Advisory class. Today, ASB kept the love going by creating colorful banners and thoughtful notes for everyone on campus.
And the celebration isn’t over yet! On Monday, May 12th, students are encouraged to dress up in their favorite era’s style, whether it's the rad 80s, nostalgic 90s, or iconic 2000s, to show some retro love for our amazing teachers and staff!
On Thursday, May 8th, Sheffield Ct (the road next to Liberty Middle School) will be closed for construction from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During this time, there will be no parking or access via Sheffield Ct. Please plan to use an alternate route or location for student drop-off and pick-up. Students walking in the area should exercise caution near the construction zone.
Our Liberty softball team pulled off an incredible win in a nail biting playoff game against a tough Sutter team. Both teams showed heart, hustle, and sportsmanship.
We are so proud of our players for staying focused and fighting until the very last out. More information to come as they play for the championship on Wednesday.
Our Liberty 7th graders will be starting their CAASPP state testing tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6th. Please make sure your student has a charged chromebook for testing.
