We were honored to welcome the Grand Jury to Liberty today. They had the chance to learn about our positive, student-centered culture and high expectations.
The visit included a walk through our classrooms, where they got to see firsthand the engaging in class instruction happening across the school, including a special look at our talented band students in action.
A thank you to the Grand Jury for taking the time to visit and see the great things happening here at Liberty.

Yesterday, Mrs. Hunt, our LUESD Superintendent, met with some of our Liberty students to discuss some important matters that affect everyone on campus. The conversation was both productive and insightful as they delved into topics like, student and staff surveys, socio-emotional supports, campus safety, and how best to improve student life at Liberty.
It was a great opportunity for students to voice their thoughts, and we are excited to continue working together to make Liberty a better place for all.

Our students have been doing an amazing job on their ELA State Interim test. We will be starting Math tomorrow, Tuesday, March 25th, in student's regularly scheduled math classes.
Please make sure your student has a charged chromebook for testing.

Last week, our 8th graders dove into the world of protein synthesis with a hands-on lab using LEGO blocks.
Students took on the roles of mRNA, rRNA, and tRNA, working together to decode DNA and correctly assemble 3 proteins using amino acids.
A little competition, a lot of learning, and some serious teamwork helped bring the process of protein synthesis to life.

Today, our 8th Liberty students investigated how mass, ramp incline, and even the shape/design of a toy car impact motion and distance! They had to identify the dependent and independent variables of the science lab. They built ramps, tested different cars, and measured the effects of mass. It was a hands-on exploration of how all these factors work together to affect motion.

What an incredible day at the CMEA Choir Festival!
Our talented Liberty choir students traveled to Visalia First Presbyterian Church today. They sang three songs, Deo Dicamis Gratias, Clever Chameleon and Riversong. Choir received an Excellent rating. After months of hard work, practice, and dedication, they shone brightly and represented our school so well.
