Happy holidays from all of us at Liberty!

We ended the our Winter Spirit Week with Flannel Shirt Day. We hope everyone has a wonderful Winter Break and we will see all of our Patriots on January 13. Happy holidays!

Dressing up as our favorite holiday movie characters today. Flannel shirt day is tomorrow. And all community service hours need to be turned in before winter break. School ends at 1:38

Fantastic performances by our solo choir students, the liberty choir and our elementary choirs. Their practice and hard work really showed as parents, guardians, and staff were treated to a marvelous concert featuring classic and new holiday songs. We are so very appreciative of our music department, who are patient and amazing teachers to our students. Thank you to all that were able to join us tonight!

We are so proud of our November Students of the Month. These Liberty students are always respectful and considerate of others. Thank you to all the parents and guardians that were able to join us to celebrate your students this morning.

Thank you to all that supported our Band Students and Teachers last night at the Winter Band Concert. Always amazing performances by our Liberty Symphonic band, concert band, and jazz band. As a reminder, the District Choir Concert is tonight at 6pm, in the Liberty Cafeteria

Congratulations to Mrs. Dow on being a finalist for California League of Middle Schools’ “Educator of the Year” award. You are always a winner to us and we are so fortunate to have you at Liberty.

What a busy week here at Liberty. Today is Holiday hats day and tomorrow is ugly sweater day. Tonight at 6pm is our Liberty Winter Band Concert in the Liberty Gym. Also a reminder for 8th graders: all community service hours for white Robe eligibility is due this FRIDAY, December 20.

Apologies 8th grade girls basketball tryouts has been moved to 4pm today. 7th grade basketball tryouts will be tomorrow afterschool.

Who doesn't love Pajama Day? Tomorrow is Holiday Hats Day. Come in your Elf ears, Santa Hats, or Reindeer antlers. Also a reminder that Candy Grams are still on sale and our Liberty Band Concert is tomorrow night starting at 6pm in the Liberty Gym. We hope to see you there.

Liberty out in the Community! Members of the Liberty Symphonic Band provided some Christmas carols this last Saturday night at the 11th Annual Lemoore Christmas Dinner held at the Lemoore Rec Center which served well over 1000 people.

Just a reminder that Monday is not an early out day, but Friday, December 20th is an early release day for Winter break. Also Monday, PJ day, is the start of our winter dress up week and candy cane grams sale.

Our students participated in the KCOE's Fall 2019 Don't Fall Into Smoking Contest, which helps educate students and the community about the dangers of smoking and vaping. Congratulations to our Liberty Student, Oren Morshead, who took Third Place! We are so proud of his achievement. Thank you to all participating students, and our staff, including Mrs. Dias and Ms. Tannish, for encouraging our students to take part in this cause. Go Patriots!

We at Liberty were so very sad to hear about the loss of one of our past graduates while serving on a naval military base. Our hearts and prayers are with his wife, child and family. Thank you for your service Navy master-at-arms, Oscar Temores. You will not be forgotten. So proud of our hardworking- and shy- student, Leland for being recognized at the board meeting tonight for his diligent efforts in school. He is always happy, respectful and caring of others. Way to go Leland!

Basketball Tryouts start on Friday, December 13 and Monday, December 16. All interested students are encouraged to try out. Permission slips must be turned in to coaches on day of tryouts. Forms available in student services (office) and the Media Center.
