Schools to Watch Redesignation
Liberty Middle School was redesignated as a State and National School to Watch, for the 3rd time, this summer. The Schools to Watch "program identifies model middle-grades schools that are academically excellent, developmentally responsive, socially equitable, and have a culture of collaborative leadership."
Some of our Liberty Middle School staff went to Washington DC, in June, and presented on Liberty's best practices, including new teacher support. Our Liberty staff work is committed to making sure our Liberty students and staff are learning and collaborating at high levels. The Liberty staff is humbled and honored to be recognized as a "Schools to Watch" and were able to network with other districts to replicate their practices to ensure Liberty is continually improving for the students that they serve.

We had an amazing turnout for Preview Night at Liberty. Thank you to all the families who were able to join us. We will see all our Liberty Patriots on Monday, August 12th.
This is just a reminder that we have Preview Night tomorrow night, Thursday, August 8, from 5pm to 7pm. There will be food vendors on campus, and classrooms will be open for our Liberty families. Also, if your student is interested in choir or ukulele, come check out the music department's booth. We hope to see you tomorrow.
Our Liberty front office is open for regular school hours: Mondays - Fridays 7:30am to 4pm.
Please note that this Wednesday, August 7th we will be closed all day and Thursday, August 8th, we will be closed from 8am to 12 noon. Our staff will be preparing for our Patriots, as they participate in staff professional development. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We are so excited for a brand new school year here at Liberty Middle School.
Our Preview Night is Thursday, August 8th, from 5pm to 7pm. The entire family is invited to come out. We will have food vendors on campus, as well as sales of PE clothes, spirit wear and preorders of the yearbook. Students are welcome to visit their new campus and meet their teachers and staff.
First day of school is Monday, August 12th at 8am. Parents and guardians, please remember to check your parentsquare for data confirmation directions for Aeries. We hope to see everyone on Thursday Night.

Thank you to all families that helped share pictures of their graduates. It has been a privilege to have watched your students grow into young adults. We wish them all the best in their future aspirations.

Our 8th graders were practicing for tomorrow's promotion ceremony. We are so proud of all their hard work. They are ready!
Our promotion ceremony is June 5th at Golden Eagle Arena at Lemoore College (West Hills). Doors open at 6pm. Event starts at 6:30pm. Ticketed entry only.
We still have less than 15 yearbooks available for purchase. $50 at the front office or Mrs Yang in the media center.
Our 8th grade students had a great time on Friday with their trip to Adventure Park and their 8th grade celebration after school. We are so proud of them and wish them all the best in high school.

Students who have already pre-ordered their yearbooks will be receiving them tomorrow, Friday, May 31st. 7th graders can pick them up during their lunch, and 8th graders will receive them after they return from Adventure Park. We only have less than 25 copies left. $50 cash only payments may be made to the front office or to Mrs Yang in the media center.
Also, our 8th grade celebration will be tomorrow after school. There will be music, games, and food vendors on campus. We'd like to invite all 8th graders to stay and celebrate the end of the school year.

Just a reminder, 8th graders will be turning in their chromebook, case, and chargers tomorrow, Thursday, May 30th. They will turn it in to their 9th period teachers at the end of the school day.
7th graders will be turning in their devices on Friday, May 31st.

What an amazing Liberty Spring Concert, last night, at South Valley Community Church. Our students did an excellent job. Thank you to all the parents, guardians, friends, family, and our Lemoore community for their continuous support. We are so grateful for our Music Teachers, who are passionate and positive. They help showcase the many benefits to including teamwork, collaboration, and work ethic. We can't wait to see what is in store for our Liberty students in the future.
