Join us for our Annual Trick or Treat Night at Liberty Middle School! Many of our local elementary schools will also be in attendance. All ages are welcome to attend. We are also accepting candy donations for that night. Please drop off donations to our Liberty Front office. Thank you so much for your support.

We are ending this week with a Jersey dress up day. Students and staff are encouraged to wear a sports jersey tomorrow, Friday, September 13th.
Our students and staff dressed in red, white, and blue today, for Patriot Day. It wasn't just a dress up day but also an important learning day for our Patriots. In their history classes, our students learned about the events that took place on 9/11 and the impact it had on our country. Please take some time today to discuss this day with your student.

We would like to thank our staff, students, families, and community who helped us with these donations. We were able to supply some of our local first responders with gift baskets of snacks and drinks, as we reflect on Patriot Day 9/11.
We are so thankful for our Lemoore Police Department and Lemoore Fire Department, who help us be safe in our Lemoore community.
We are so excited to announce that Liberty Middle School will be having Cross Country as a sport this year. An informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 10th. Tryouts will start on Thursday, September 12th. Students will need a signed permission slip in Parentsquare prior to the tryout date. Please make sure it is completed by 2:45pm on August 12th.
Next Wednesday, September 11th is Patriot Day. Students and staff are encouraged to wear patriotic colors. Staff - white, 7th grade - red, and 8th - blue.
In addition, ASB would like to thank our Lemoore police department and fire department, in honor of Patriot Day. We are accepting donations at the front office. Thank you for your support.
Thank you to all those who came out today to cheer on our Patriots. This is just a reminder that there is another HOME game tomorrow. Please remember to bring seats, umbrellas, and stay hydrated as you cheer on our football team. Also, food and drink are not permitted in the gym during volleyball games. We loved seeing all the different colleges and universities on our campus for college colors day. Thank you to all the participated in promoting higher education awareness in our Lemoore community.
There is no school on Monday, September 2nd, in observance of Labor Day. We will see all our Patriots on September 3rd. Don't forget, Tuesday, September 3rd is also our first Volleyball and Flag Football HOME games.
This is just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday, August 30th is College Colors Day at Liberty.
Chromebooks will be distributed to students on Thursday, August 29th for 7th graders and Friday, August 30th for 8th graders. Please double check to see if your student has turned in their first day packet, which includes the chromebook policy, to their Advisory teacher. Extra copies are available at the front office.
Liberty students will be dressing out for PE classes starting on Monday, August 26th.
Our Liberty Title 1 Parent Meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday, August 27th at 5:30pm, followed by our 8th Grade Parent Night Meeting at 6pm. Located in the Liberty Cafeteria. Both parents/guardians and students are welcome to attend.
We are so glad we were able to get coaches for Cheer this year!
Cheer Tryouts are coming up next week and is open to all Liberty students. Our Liberty cheerleaders cheer at all HOME football games and all HOME basketball games. It is a two season commitment in Fall (August - September) and Winter (December - February)
Students will meet with the coaches
-Tuesday, August 20: 3:15pm to 4:15pm (At the Cafeteria)
-Wednesday, August 21: 3:15pm to 4:15pm (At the Cafeteria)
-Thursday, August 22 3:15pm to 4:15pm (At the Media Center)
Students should be dressed in athletic wear for tryouts.
-Shorts or Leggings
-T-shirt (No Tank tops)
-Hair out of face; placed in a pony tail
Water bottle is highly recommended.
Forms will be available tonight, Friday August 16th, at 5pm. Forms are due on August 20, prior to 2:45pm, so that the list maybe generated prior to auditions. Please get them filled out as soon as possible via parentsquare.com

Jazz Band is starting next week, Tuesday, August 20th, in the Liberty Bandroom. Jazz Band starts before school at 7:15 a.m., and is a school year commitment.
The Jazz Band attends trips and festivals. Please have your Liberty student join us on Tuesday if they are interested.
Our Fall Sports tryouts are coming up this Thursday, August 15th. Permission slips for tryouts will be available tonight, Tuesday, August 13th at 5pm, via parentsquare.com
If your student is interested in Flag Football or Girls Volleyball, please make sure to have it completed on parentsquare, prior to 2:45pm, on the 1st day of tryouts, August 15th.

We are on a regular day schedule tomorrow and the rest of the week. Classes start at 8am and end at 3pm. Students on campus prior to 7:45am should wait in the designated area by the flag pole.
