Isaac Benitez earned himself a pizza lunch with Mrs Revious. He invited his friends Alexander Fernandez, Michael Reyes, and Niko Ingemi-Labes. Isaac is a shining example of PRIDE. Congratulations.

Solomon Bega earned himself a pizza lunch. He invited his friends Olivia Paxton, Myumi Peyegrin, and Danielle Atilano to join him. Solomon is a respectful and involved student. We are so proud of him. Congratulations.

Our Liberty Softball team had a great run during the playoffs. Their first game was against a formidable Sutter team and they won by a score of 10-1. On Monday, they faced Citrus of Orange Cove. The game was a competitive one but Liberty took the win. Today's championship game, they placed second against Rafer Johnson, Kingsburg. We are so proud of all their hard work. Congratulations, Patriots!

Today is National Principals Day. We would like to honor one of the best, our Liberty Middle School Principal, Mrs. Revious. She has served our Lemoore Union Elementary School District for over 20 years. Her commitment to our community and our students is something that is truly special and very seldom found. We appreciate all of the hard work and dedication that Mrs. Revious does for all students and staff everyday.

Our 8th graders have been doing an amazing job these past few days on their CAASPP testing in ELA. Our advisory classes, office, cafeteria staff, and media center decorated their doors to motive and encourage students during their state tests. The winning advisory class, as voted by our district office staff, will win a pizza party.

Our Liberty 8th grade students will be taking their CAASPP State testing starting tomorrow, Tuesday, April 30th, in their regularly scheduled ELA classes. Please make sure your student gets plenty of sleep and a good breakfast. Try to schedule doctor’s appointments after school.
The test will be all electronic. It is very important to have your chromebook charged and ready to go for testing. Thank you and good luck, Patriots!

We had a rally to kick off our CAASPP State Testing. Our ASB and Liberty staff provided some very entertaining and motivating activities for our students: cheer performance, staff vs student basketball game, musical chairs, winter percussion performance, and so much more.
8th graders will be starting their state testing next week April 29th and 7th graders will be starting May 6th. Good luck, Patriots!

Thank you to all the families, staff, and students who joined us for Open House yesterday. We hope you were able to enjoy the jazz band playing, visit our staff, and shop our book fair. Your support is integral to our Liberty vision in "increasing the educational level and the sense of community."

Just a reminder that our Liberty Open House is tonight, Thursday, April 25. Food vendors and the book fair will open at 5:30pm. Our Liberty Jazz Band will play the event at 6pm. Classrooms are open at 6pm to 7pm. We hope you can join us tonight.

Congratulations to our Liberty Choir. They attended the CMEA(California Music Eduacators Association) Small Ensemble Festival this past Saturday at Fresno High School. They received an excellent rating on their performance.

Attendance is a critical part of a student's success at school, especially as we start CAASPP state testing
8th graders (April 29th - May24th) and 7th grade (May 6th - May 24th)
-Help your child maintain daily routines, such getting a good night’s sleep and being prepared for school with a backpack and charged chromebook.
-Talk about the importance of showing up to school everyday; make that the expectation.
-Try to schedule dental and medical appointments after the school day.
-Stay on top of academic progress and seek help from teachers; make sure teachers know the best way to contact you.
And remember to call the school, should your student be absent from school. We are open Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4pm. (559)924-6860. Every day counts.

Congratulations to Isabella Perez. She won our Liberty Book Fair Raffle: the newest dogman book, dogman pens, and $20 to spend at the book fair.
Book fair is open all week including during Open House 4/25.

You are invited to our Liberty Open House this Thursday, April 25th. You can visit your Liberty student's teachers and staff, get dinner for the family, shop the book fair, and listen to our Jazz Band perform. We hope you can join us.
Please note there will be NO afterschool math tutoring on THURSDAY, APRIL 25th. We will still have regularly scheduled tutoring on Tuesday, April 23 for 8th graders only. Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience.
The book fair is open everyday afterschol until 4pm.

Our students looked great in their semi-formal looks at the Fancy Dance on Friday. Everyone had a great time. We'd like to thank our staff, students, and ASB for making this a successful event.

Thank you to Dr. Betchel and practice manager LaDawna, who visited Liberty on Friday. The students learned about becoming a vet and all the different procedures that they perform every day. Also, the students were so excited to have seen some animals up close. We are so glad our local Karing for Kreatures Veterinarian was able to stop by for our career cafe.

Thank you to Chief Love and the Lemoore High School NJROTC that visit our campus this morning. Our 8th grade students were able to learn more about the program and got to see some of the skills you learn and develop within the program. We even got to see some former Liberty students.

Salvador Gaytan earned himself another pizza lunch. He invited his friends Jayden Eakes, Brody Allen and Dante Galvan to join him. Salvador consistently shows PRIDE in his work. Congratulations

Our 8th graders had a great trip yesterday at the San Francisco Exploratorium. This was an amazing opportunity for them to learn with their friends and peers. Some of our students have never even traveled to San Francisco. Thank you to our district, staff, chaperones, and students who made this a memorable experience for all our 8th grade students.
