Nerd Day at Liberty. Today, for Red Ribbon Week, students learned about the dangers and myths about Vaping. Our Nerds are too Smart for Drugs.

Our Halloween dance is Wednesday, October 30th. Free admission and there will be a snack bar. 3:30pm to 5:30pm. For safety reasons, we ask that students stay for the duration of the dance or be signed out by a parent/guardian if leaving before 5:30pm. Come in costume and have fun with your friends.

Thank you so much to the parents and students who came to our Parent Information Night on Drug Awareness and Prevention- that included great, current information on the new trends including vaping and changes in marijuana, among other things. It was very eye opening. A huge thank you to our guest presenters, Christian Ibanez from the Health Department and Officer Kurtz from the Lemoore Police Department DEA. We also were fortunate to have our District Nurses on hand with an informational table- as well as Kings View and KCOE TUPE program. It truly was a community event. Thank you to all for your help in trying to keep our youth drug free. #redribbonweek2019

It's Red Ribbon Week at Liberty. Today the students learned about the history of Red Ribbon week and Drug Myths. Tonight is our Parent Night at 6pm. We hope you can join us, so we can also learn together for our children. Tomorrow's dress up day is Nerd Day.

Our wrestling team and Coach Woods have been conditioning for our upcoming wrestling matches and tournaments. Please join us for some of our events including our HOME Liberty wrestling matches.

Friday is Pink day for breast cancer awareness month. We hope you have a great weekend and we'll see you Saturday morning 8am to 10am at Applebee's in Hanford for our Flapjack Fundraiser.

Also Community booths including, Lemoore Police Dept, Lemoore Fire dept, Lemoore Parks and Rec, Lemoore High School, Whiplash Volleyball, Side Out Volleyball and the BEST for last, of course our co-host for the night: MeadowLane Elementary School. We hope to see you all there. For candy, food, and carnival games.

Congratulations to the everyone that made our soccer teams! There were so many students that tried out and we are so grateful for all their efforts. Our first game is on Thursday at Riverdale.

Wrestling practice has been cancelled today: October 15, 2019.

Congrats to the Liberty Marching Band and Colorguard for their awesome performance at the Visalia Band Invitational today. The Color Guard took 3rd place, our drum major, Grace Buckley took 3rd place, our Drumline took 1st place, and the whole combined group overall took 1st place. Way to go Patriots! #thelibertyway

Just a friendly reminder, November 1, 2019 is Teacher Workday. No school for students

Just a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL, this coming Monday, October 14. Students will resume Benchmark testing on Tuesday, October 15 in their Scheduled MATH classes. Please make sure your student has a charged Chromebook for testing.

Orange Impact Aid Program Survey Forms were sent home with your student on October 4th.  These forms help provide federal funding to assist in program costs.  Please take a moment to complete the form and send it back to your students school by Friday, October 11, 2019.  Thank you for your support.  

Our trick or treat night coming up on the 18th. If you would like to donate some candy for our event, you may send it with your student or drop it by the front office. Thank you for helping to make our event a success for the entire community.
