Soccer Season is coming up. Tryouts for Girls start on October 8 and Boys on October 9, afterschool. Students must have a signed permission slip in order to tryout.

What an amazing book fair this year! A special thank you goes out to Mrs Cosic and Mrs Lackey for donating books to their students. Every purchase allowed us to get more books for our students for years to come. Thank you to all that supported us this fall book fair.

Congrats to the Liberty Middle School Marching Band and Colorguard who participated in the Big Fresno Fair Band Review today. The percussion section took 3rd place and the whole group took 2nd place overall out of 10 groups and brought home a $400 prize! Great job! #patriotpride

As mornings are getting colder, please help get your student ready for school every day. Here are some tips parents and guardians can use to instill good attendance habits in their students.

Our September students of the month. These students showed dependability these past months by showing up to school every day, ready and on time. We are so thankful for the parents and guardians that were able to join us this morning, who also help in their student's good attendance.

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for all this week. September 30 - October 4 are all Early Out Days. School is released at 1:38.

Happy retirement to Mrs. Thayer. We are all so very excited for your new adventures but sad to see you go. Thank you for helping all of our Liberty children throughout the past 20 years, as not only a paraprofessional but also a friend and kind mentor. We all wish you the very best.

Our Liberty boys flag football placed 2nd at the SAL championships. After beating Rafer Johnson 36-20, our students lost to Kings River Hardwick 14-22 in the championship. We are still very proud of all their hard work this season! Amazing teamwork

First parade competition of the season for Liberty Middle School today at the Caruthers Fair Parade. The students did an amazing job and worked so hard, showing their Patriot PRIDE. Thank you to all our supporting parents/guardians and band directors that helped to make the first competition successful.

Another Fun Friday for our month of September. Congratulations to Mrs Alford's advisory class for getting the highest percentage for attendance this month and earning a pizza party.

We have a busy week here at Liberty. Tuesday 9/24 - Home Volleyball Game Wednesday 9/25 - PICTURE day during scheduled PE classes, Home Football Game, and an Away Volleyball Game at Riverdale. Thursday 9/26 - Football and Volleyball Team Photos afterschool. Friday 9/27 - Book Fair is open until 10/4 Saturday 9/28 - Caruthers Fair parade featuring our Liberty Marching band and Color Guard. Early outs all next week - 9/30-10/4 for Parent Teacher Conferences.

Thank you to LCDR Brandon Hempler and the Blue Angels crew, that were able to visit Liberty this morning and talk to our lucky students. They even dropped in to hear our band students.

Just a friendly reminder, please see that your data confirmation in Aeries is all up to date. Failure to complete the process will prevent student health records, addresses and emergency contacts from being updated which will be necessary in case of an emergency. This can also affect student participation in field trips if we don't have the student's updated information.
