First day of colorguard tryouts. We are so excited to have Coach Cabuhat back this year.
Tryouts continue next week on the 23 and 25.
First day dressing out for PE classes, start tomorrow, Thursday, August 18th. Make sure your student has their PE clothes ready to go.
Also 8th graders will be getting their Chromebooks, tomorrow, August 18th, during their ELA classes. 7th grade will take place on Friday, August 19th. Double check to make sure your student turned in their first day packet for their chromebook.

Students should be dressed in athletic wear or PE clothes.

The 2021-2022 yearbook is NOW available for pick up. Parents and students that purchased their yearbook from last year, may pick it up starting today, Monday, August 1, from 7:30am to 4:00pm, during regular office hours.

The California Department of Education and the California Pivotal Award Program selected LUESD as a 2022 CAPP Award Program Winner
LUESD was recently recognized as a 2022 California Pivotal Practice (CAPP) Award Program Winner. The CAPP Award Program, which is part of the California Department of Education’s School Recognition Program, was designed in partnership with Presenting Sponsor, California Casualty to celebrate districts and schools that have implemented innovative practices during the 2020-2021 school year to support distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The CAPP Award Program is currently being utilized in place of the California Distinguished Schools (DS) Program.
