NOTICE OF PROVISIONAL APPOINTMENT TO FILL THE TRUSTEE AREA 5 VACANCY ON THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE LEMOORE UNION ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT PURSUANT TO EDUCATION CODE SECTION 5092
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT as a result of the resignation of Stephen Todd effective March 31, 2023, a vacancy occurred in the seat on the Governing Board representing Trustee Area 5 and at its meeting on May 23, 2023, the Board appointed Timothy Ables to fill this vacancy.
This Appointee shall hold office until the next regularly scheduled election for school board members on November 5, 2024, unless a petition calling for a special election and containing a sufficient number of signatures is filed in the office of the Kings County Superintendent of Schools, 1144 W Lacey Blvd, Hanford, California 93230, within thirty (30) days of the date of the provisional appointment.
