DISTRICT APPOINTS FREEDOM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL'S NEW PRINCIPAL LUESD is pleased to announce the appointment of Tracy Cassina as the Principal of Freedom Elementary School. The new elementary school will open in the Fall of 2021. Professionally, Mrs. Cassina has 23 years of experience in the field of education serving in the Lemoore Union Elementary School District. Mrs. Cassina had 21 years of teaching experience in the district before being promoted to the position of Learning Coordinator for Meadow Lane Elementary in the 2019/2020 school year. She has also served as our Summer School Administrator for the 2017-2019 summer school sessions. We congratulate Tracy Cassina on her new position and are excited to have her leadership guiding the opening of our new Freedom Elementary school site!

LUESD would like to recognize our Board of Trustees in honor of #SchoolBoardRecognitionMonth. There are approximately 5,100 California school board trustees, which is the largest group of elected officials in the state. Trustees aid in supporting student success by establishing policy priorities and benchmarks. Trustees provide a critical accountability link between the schools and the community, and offer accessibility to voters that is unrivaled by other public officeholders.
