DISTRICT APPOINTS UNIVERSITY CHARTER SCHOOL'S DEAN FOR THE 2021/2022 SCHOOL YEAR
At its scheduled meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, the Board of Trustees ratified the employment of Mr. Michael "Micky" Yocum, Jr. as our new Charter School Dean for the 2021/2022 school year.
Micky has twenty-four (24) years of experience in education serving as a special education teacher at the elementary school level, assistant principal and principal and is currently serving as a district level administrator. His educational expertise in leading in a small school environment along with his various leadership experiences will be a great addition to the University Charter School team as well as our District.

DISTRICT APPOINTS MEADOW LANE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL'S LEARNING COORDINATOR FOR THE 2021/2022 SCHOOL YEAR
At its scheduled meeting on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, the Board of Trustees ratified the employment of Ms. Dawn Taylor, as our new Learning Coordinator for Meadow Lane Elementary School for the 2021/2022 school year.
Dawn brings to the learning coordinator role seven (7) years of elementary teaching experience along with her expertise as a PLC leader, a School Leadership team member, a New Teacher Induction (NTI) Mentor and site administrative designee at Meadow Lane Elementary. We are excited for Ms. Taylor to begin her Learning Coordinator role and look forward to working with her in this new capacity.
