Meadow Lane Elementary School student Alex shared with the Board of Trustees the schools “16 Days of Gratitude” celebrated during the month of November. Daily writing prompts were provided and students were encouraged to share and write about things and people they are thankful for. Students discovered that there are many things they could be grateful for and realized and appreciated the little things they barely even noticed before.
This project of gratitude has been a uniting project for the students. It has opened up conversation topics for students and presented opportunities for students to help one another in spelling or even thinking of ideas to share. This project emphasized the great community we have at Meadow Lane!

Thanksgiving break is here! Have a great break and we'll see you on Monday, November 29.

REMINDER...
Parent - Teacher conferences this week!

The most important thing we can do for our children
to be successful in life is to get them to school every
day and on time every day.
Lo más importante que podemos hacer para que
nuestros hijos triunfen en la vida es asegurarnos de
que vayan a la escuela todos los días y puntualmente
